No, not yet, although Adobe has talked about it. As of now, there is no trial, the Explorer gives a good idea of it's capabilities. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.

As far as an mxml example, do you mean an Application applying the manager? If so, not at the moment.

I am developing quite a few user interface components right now that will have example Application uses, but, as far the manager I think it is pretty self explanatory what it can be used with.
