Right before buying this product I took a short look of your EULA and I discovered that we might not use your software legally. I have the following situation and questions:

We are developing a RIA software with Flex technology on the client side. At the end several users would log in our server and download the client into their browsers containing a copy of the built-in, compiled resizer component. As I understand the EULA strictly prohibits this, which would make the use of your product impossible for us.

"1.5 The Software Product (Teo Component) cannot be installed, shared, or used concurrently on different computers"
"1.6. You are not allowed to electronically transfer, make, or distribute copies of the Software Product (Teo Component)."
"1.7. Installation on a network server is strictly prohibited under the terms and conditions of this End User License Agreement. You will need to purchase additional licenses for each computer to which the Software Product (Teo Component) will be distributed."

Could you make this licensing issue clear for us?

Thanks,
Tamas

Hi,

No you are misreading this.

(Teo Component) means, the SWC file not the compiled SWF application. In those three sections we are saying;

- You need multiple licenses for multiple developers
- You can't copy and distribute our SWC file.
- You can't install our SWC on a developer server network where multiple developers access the SWC.

Does that make sense?

Mike
